As referred to earlier, follow these instructions to modify the Mex Endoints, otherwise Outlook client & some other CRM tools will not work:

To adjust the ADFS session time outs, here is an example of setting claims based timeout to 480 minutes, as the default is 60 minutes:

Get-ADFSRelyingPartyTrust -Name:”CRM IFD Relying Party”

Set-ADFSRelyingPartyTrust -TargetName “CRM Claims Relying Party” -TokenLifetime 480

ADFS configuration for IFD

 

Click on Add Relying Part Trust

Select ‘Import Data about the Relying Party Online or published on a local Network’

https://auth.isite-solutions.com/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml

(verify that you can open above URL)

Enter a display name, for example CRM IFD Relying Party

Select ‘Permit all users to access this relying party’

On Ready to Add Trust, click Next

Open the Edit Claim Rules when wizard closes

Enter the same 3 rules as in Part 5

 

Browse to the Org URL

If you see error in ADFS Event Log “An error occurred during an attempt to build the certificate chain for the relying party trust…” run the following in Powershell:

Set-ADFSRelyingPartyTrust -TargetName “CRM IFD Relying Party” -EncryptionCertificateRevocationCheck None
